All of our casinos are reviewed in full, and alongside this, we have lots of dedicated sections to help you play blackjack to the best of your ability. We have some excellent guides and strategy areas, as well as details about other one off promotions too, so you will never miss out on a good, potentially profitable opportunity.
Simply the best live casinos!
At our site, when it comes to the live casinos we are all about quality as opposed to quantity. What we will say is, you won’t find hundreds of casinos here, but what you will find, are simply the very best selection of live casinos currently available online. All of which are carefully selected with security and safety in mind, and offer players a good variety of live dealer games, such as live blackjack, live roulette and live baccarat. All casinos come with excellent pay-out rates, and promotions you will long to get your teeth into.
Online casinos with a social aspect
Now, blackjack isn’t exactly what you might call a sociable game, by that we mean that people don’t play to socialise and make friends, like bingo players might. The main goal is of course to try and win some money, socialising and the like comes second. Live casinos very much have implemented this and made the games more sociable which can make the experience a little more real, and help to engage you a bit more. When one plays at a software casino, it is just you versus a generic software dealer, with an unrealistic sounding voice. However, the first thing you receive at a live casino is a friendly welcome from the dealer. She or he will not only welcome you, but they’ll usually ask about your day, and try to engage in a friendly chat with you.
The software tends to include a chat facility, where you can type a reply to the dealer, and if you wish to, engage in a full conversation with them. Not only can you talk to the dealer, you can also chat to and interact with other players as well. In fact, this can prove very useful when you’re playing blackjack. For instance, if a certain player is hesitant on what move to make, you can advise him or her. Ultimately the end goal of blackjack is for the dealer to either bust, meaning you’ll all win, or for the dealer to get a low score, and all players to get a high one, again meaning all players win. So using the chat, you may find you can help fellow players achieve this goal. Also, if you wish to, you can have a conversation alongside your live gaming, and potentially make friends too.
Bonuses and promotions
A live casino is already brilliant enough but what makes them even better, is a nice promotion to entice new players. It is common to see several casinos all with the same bonus amount; however the type of bonus can differ depending on the casino.
The most common type of bonus that you will usually see is what we refer to, as a matched deposit bonus. As is the case with all bonuses, you have to sign up to the casino first and foremost. Then once you have joined, you would usually make a real money deposit. The bonus you receive is given as a percentage of this initial deposit, the percentages vary, but for live casinos, the standard is either 100% or 150%. For example, a £100 deposit with a 100% bonus would get you an extra £100, whereas a 150% bonus would get you an additional £150. Some of these can sometimes require a bonus code in order to trigger them. You’ll be pleased to know that we have included these codes on all of our bonuses pages, for any brands where this is required.
These types of bonuses are particularly good, and becoming increasingly popular all the time. A site usually states that you will get a set percentage of cash back, up to a possible maximum amount. At the moment, we’ll take Celtic casino as an example, who is offering 50% cash back up to €100 in the first week of playing their live casino. One simply signs up, deposits, and begins playing live blackjack or live roulette, and no matter whether you win or lose, you can expect cash back up to the specified maximum. If the luck is in your favour, it can be a very welcome added extra. Or, if lady luck isn’t on your side, it can be a way of reclaiming 50% of your losses, up to €100 in this instance.
Some bonuses are released in a similar fashion to a loyalty promotion, whereby the more you play, the more you release. Basically, you’d have a maximum bonus figure to work towards, and as you play you would earn points, these points then release a small percentage increment of the bonus figure. However, these bonuses aren’t as plentiful as the others. However, if you intend to play live casino games for a long term period, then they’ll be ideal for you.
Live Dealer Games
The live dealer casinos offer all the old favourites and classic live dealer casino games that you would expect to find at a real life bricks and mortar casino. All the casinos which we promote do of course offer players live blackjack as a game choice, however this isn’t the only option. At the casinos, there are many other games which you may wish to play too, all of which are equally thrilling and popular.
Regardless of which game you decide to play, you will not regret trying the experience out. From the minute you join a live dealer table, you’ll immediately receive the friendliest welcome from the croupier, a welcome that you could only dream of receiving in a real life casino. The dealers and croupiers are quite simply, some of the most friendliest people around, and all help to make the experience as enjoyable as can be.
This is the game that we are all about, and the game that we love most of all, live blackjack. Every casino we have at liveblackjackcasinos.co.uk naturally offers live blackjack as a gaming option. Once you sign up and head to the live dealer section, you’re usually presented with a choice of live blackjack tables. These table choices differ in terms of the limit amounts; they may start with low limit tables, with a £5 minimum bet per hand, going up to £250 per hand. They then work up from these amounts depending on the table, right up to the VIP level, with £500 per hand minimum bet, and up to £15000 per hand maximum, sometimes these amounts are even higher. The tables offer seven boxes to bet in, which is essentially room for seven players in total. However, some of the live casinos allow you to play in multi seat mode. Basically, this means you can “sit” in one seat and play from there, and also take another empty seat too, essentially allowing you to play multiple boxes, and multiple hands in any one game.
Live roulette is quite simply a live game of roulette played via the live casino, this game is increasingly popular, and some brands even have their own dedicated TV channel. This means you can register with them via our site, place your bets on a live roulette game, and see the dealer spinning the roulette wheel at your own leisure, albeit through the TV, or over the internet if the channel isn’t broadcasting when you’re playing.
Unlike blackjack, when you opt for roulette, you usually have a choice of about three tables. One of which is at low limits, one at medium limits and one at VIP level with high limits. The big difference between roulette and blackjack is that tens and sometimes even hundreds of players can be playing at the same table at any one time, so it is always easy to get a good game of live roulette in. Also, game play can be somewhat quicker than the card games, meaning game turnaround times are faster and the game can be more profitable, in a shorter space of time, assuming your luck is in.
This is a game which isn’t particularly wide spread in bricks and mortar casinos in the UK, yet online it has proven to be extremely popular among UK players, and is usually one of the main table card games on offer. It is a relatively simple game, and just like live roulette, there are usually about two or three tables to choose from. There is always a low limit table, with a minimum bet starting at around £1 per hand. Then there is an upper limit table, usually with bets per hand starting at a minimum of around £5.
The game is relatively simple; you play against the banker, and can place a bet on either the player winning or the banker winning, or you can bet on a tie outcome, at specified odds, which are usually about 9 to 1. The aim of the game is to get as close to 9 as possible. The cards are dealt alternatively between the player and the banker box until either side gets 9, or as close to it as they can.
If you get a natural nine, made up of two cards, i.e. a six and a three, then this is an immediate win and you will be paid out straight away. If you decide to place a bet on the bankers box, and this bet is a winner, you are charged a 5% fee for doing so, which is essentially “a fee for the banker”. So if you won £10, they would deduct 50p from your win, and pay you £9.50. Though don’t be put off by this, as statistically there is an increased probability of the banker box winning in the long run, and it is usually the best bet to opt for. The charge is simply the banks cut for you betting on their cards.
Some casinos are expanding their live dealer games offerings all the time, and some have live sic bio, and live casino hold ‘em as well.
